Terms and conditions of Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal.
I would like to welcome you at Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal in Sassenheim and ask you to inform yourself of these general terms and conditions. When you book a room with us, you agree to the general terms and conditions.
Main guest.
The person who has made a reservation at Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal by means of a contact form, e-mail or by telephone.
The main guest must be 18 years of age or older and is responsible for his or her fellow guests and must have a permanent place of residence.
Administrator.
The person who manages the Bed & Breakfast as owner of B&B De Hoffstal or on behalf of the owner of B&B De Hoffstal.
Third parties.
Any other legal entity who is not a guest, administrator or owner.

Cancellation.
The revocation or cancellation of the final reservation within the applicable period.
You are responsible for arranging your own cancellation and/or travel insurance.
Period of stay.
The entire period is located between check-in and check-out.

1. Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal.
1.1
Bed & Breakfast The Hoffstal is described on the website www.dehoffstal.nl. This website has been compiled with the utmost care but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the current situation at Bed & Breakfast at the time of the visit by our guests. No rights can be derived from such differences.
1.2
Allrooms are suitable for two persons.
Pets are not allowed,for hygienic reasons.
Because of the stairs and entresols the rooms are less suitable for small children.
All rooms are non-smoking.
1.3
On the day of arrival your room will be available from 4:00 pm.
We ask you to check in between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
The agreed arrival times are guide times, but if you arrive much later or earlier, you run the risk that no one from the Bed & Breakfast is present.
If you are unable to be present at the indicated time, please let us know as soon as possible.
Different arrival times are only possible inconsultation.
Because of the cleaning of the rooms you have to leave before 10:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
1.4
Breakfast is prepared in the kitchen, wich you can reach through the corridor, between 08:30 am and 09:30 am.
When the weather is nice there is the opportunity to have breakfast outside in the garden.
Different times for breakfast can be discussed with us.
Do you have any special wishes for breakfast? Gluten-free, low-salt, vegetarian? Please indicate this when booking.
1.5
All rooms of B&B De Hoffstal have a private bathroom with shower, washbasin with hot & cold running water, toilet and includes use of linen. The rooms also have a terrace.
1.6
The car and bicycles can be parked on the property. Parking is at your own risk.
1.7
Your host will inform you which rooms at Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal are available and usable for you.
The private rooms may not be entered by guests.
The outside area also has partitions of common and private use.
It is very much appreciated not to enter the private areas.
2. Prices.
2.1
The prices of the rooms are described on our website www.dehoffstal.nl.
Prices include breakfast, use of towels and bed linen, water and electricity, tourist tax and final cleaning.
2.2
The prices do not include costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs.
2.3
Prices of Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal are subject to interim changes.
2.4
All statements on our websites are deemed to have been made in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments.
Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal is not bound by obvious errors on its website.
3. Reservation and payment.
3.1
Reservations can be made by e-mail through info@dehoffstal.nl , through our website www.dehoffstal.nl , through www.bedandbreakfast.nl , www.booking.com or by calling us at +31625345251.
3.2
After a reservation request has been made, you will receive a message from us as soon as possible with the relevant details and whether the desired room is still available for you.
You must check and confirm this reservation within 48 hours by sending an email back to info@dehoffstal.nl .
By confirming the reservation request and a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation, the booking becomes valid.
If we have not received a confirmation from you after 48 hours, the reservation request will be cancelled immediately. This to avoid disappointment for our other guests.
3.3
The advance payment of fifty percent (50%) of the total amount of the reservation must be transferred to the following bank account: NL03KNAB0259756733 in favour of B&B De Hoffstal.
In the unlikely event that nothing is received after the agreed period, the reservation made will be cancelled immediately. You will receive a confirmation of cancellation from B&B De Hoffstal by e-mail.
4. Cancellation policy.
4.1
When a definite reservation for Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal has been made and confirmed, the following applies to cancellation of that reservation:
- Cancellation 14 ormore than 14 days before the date of arrival is free of charge.
- If cancelled less than 14 days before the date of arrival, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total booking amount.
In order to qualify for a refund of the amount paid, you must inform us about your cancellation as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone.
After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred to you as soon as possible, but at the latest within 21 days.
In case of premature departure there will be no refund, cancellation costs are also due if you do not show up.
4.2
Bed & Breakfast The Hoffstal can only cancel the reservation agreement in the following cases: in cases of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.
In one of these cases, the owner will inform the guest as soon as possible of an alternative offer.
If this is not possible or if the guest does not accept the offered alternative, the full amount will be refunded. Any other damage resulting from the termination will not be compensated by the owner.
5. Complaints.
5.1
We try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Despite our good care, it is still possible that you have a complaint or comment.
In order to be able to solve it properly, we ask you to let us know first and as soon as possible, by mail or telephone contact.
6. Liability.
6.1
Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of staying in the room in question; the guest indemnifies Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal against any claims in this regard.
Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation such as failures of electricity, WiFi, water supplies and technical installations as well as unannounced or untimely construction and/or road works in the area surrounding Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal.
6.2
Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal is not liable for loss, theft, damage or accidents caused to persons and/or goods during or as a result of the stay in the room(s) of Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal.
6.3
The main guest mentioned in the booking confirmation is responsible for the orderly course of events in and around the room(s) concerned.
All belongings must be handled with care and the room must be left neatly and decently.
This also applies to the use of things in the Bed & Breakfast such as: in the kitchen, all interior spaces and the outside area.
Any breakage or damage must be reported by the guest directly to the owner.
Any repair and/or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed by the guest to the owner on first request.
If it turns out after checking out that items have been left behind broken and this has not been reported to the owner, then the costs for repair and/or replacement will still be charged.
7. Safety.
7.1
For your own safety and that of Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal it is forbidden to smoke inside the rooms or use open fire.
This is only allowed in the garden around Bed & Breakfast De Hoffstal.
Misuse of fire extinguishers or disabling the smoke detectors is not allowed.
The balustrades are not suitable to lean on and/or sit on.
7.2
Other facilities on the property must be used with care and in accordance with the destination.
The safety of any small child must be guaranteed by the parents or guardians.
7.3
Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. B&B De Hoffstal is at rest.
Out of respect for the other guests and the neighbourhood, disturbances, in any form, will not be tolerated.
8. Final determination.
8.1
As far as not provided otherwise in rules of international private law, the present terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Dutch-speaking guests shall be deemed to agree to the general terms and conditions.
8.2
All disputes arising from the user agreement or these terms and conditions will be submitted to the competent court of the Netherlands in the first place, insofar as the rules of private international law do not provide otherwise.
8.3
None of the parties may transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise provided in these terms and conditions.
8.4
If and to the extent that any provision in the user agreement and the present conditions could prove null and void, the other conditions shall remain in place and the not-right article shall be deemed to have been converted in accordance with the parties' apparent intentions.
